Movie description

Beer from northern Germany is a particular treasure. Richness and prosperity developed and it became famous due to the utilization of hops, Cause hop is the reason why beer preserved. Since more than 800 years, brewers and beer enthusiasts fiddle about special recipes and styles as Gose, Mumme, Bock or Helles. But most of the recipes disappeared and with them the diversity of the beer.

Industrial production brought less flavor and less differences - but this time of drought seems to be over now. People start to appreciate special, traditional and craft brewed styles. As the beer came to the north tells the story of the northern German brewing history. Nowadays hop ist growing on the island of Sylt once again. And Goslar drinks Gose with salt and coriander.
